Chapter 05

nolui - I did not want (nolo)

consilium cepi -I had an idea (capio)

cepi - I took, seized, took hold of

duxit (duco)

feci - I made (facio)

spectavit - he watched (specto)

rogavit - he asked (rogo)

dixi - I said (dico)

inquit - can mean either s/he says or s/he said (present and perfect forms are the same)


Chapter 06

audivi - I heard (audio)

arisi - I smiled (arrideo, arridere, arrisi/arisi, arrisus)

spectavi - I watched (specto)

volui - I wanted (volo)
